Spiritual education; book on glass spinning
A book about glass spinning. Should it be? Yes it should. Especially in view of the fact that many ignorant young people still get so carried away by the game that sometimes terrible accidents happen, I think it would be a good idea to take glass spinning out of the taboo once and for all.
Banning does not help, as the many posts on Google show. Summoning ghosts still seems to be incredibly popular activity among young people, unfortunately sometimes with far-reaching consequences.
So it is high time to teach them how to really do it and explain step by step to anyone interested exactly what makes the glass move, what this can trigger psychologically and what to do if someone gets scared or panics.
Compare with safe sex.
If you forbid young people to have sex 'because it is dangerous', it will only make it more exciting, causing them to explore on their own and, in ignorance, run all kinds of risks. On the other hand, if you tell them honestly that sex is above all fun, provided you don't act unsafely and teach them to take the right precautions, little can go wrong.
Forbidden fruit still tastes best so let's just allow everyone to eat it; well prepared and with an antidote at hand in case something goes wrong unexpectedly.
Prayer
The fact that the pages 'summoning spirits', 'chasing spirits' and 'glass spinning' on my website are by far the most visited, gave me the idea to write a book in which I share with you everything I know about this subject. After doing some research on the internet, I saw that there is no informative book on the subject yet, which is probably why it is so often googled online.
When I typed 'glass spinning' into the Google search bar myself, I was shocked by the rigid, old-fashioned scaremongering I came across everywhere not to mention the search term 'summoning spirits'. On YouTube, it was even worse. Manipulated videos, sensationalist titles and shouty thumbnails. And of course it always goes wrong.
And also in the Netherlands, demon ZoZo regularly visits...
No wonder many young people (and adults) are terrified of ghosts and still see glassing as an outright gateway to hell.
An online shop selling Ouija signs posts the text below with its products:
Deceased people can try to contact us in different ways. Therefore, there are not only positive entities, but also negative ones. To stop contact with those negative entities, you can protect yourself with prayer.
After the prayer for protection of the highest white light, you can start calling the deceased you specifically want to speak to. This is because you open a passage to the other side. If you don't ask for a specific name, negative entities may also present themselves.
Intermediate
In my opinion, such a description only increases curiosity and causes those consulting the board to fear in advance that something scary is going to happen, which already has an immediate negative impact on the psyche.
Of course, I also understand that it is precisely the sinister atmosphere that surrounds spinning glasses that makes it a popular 'game'. After all, if you feel like a night of horror, you don't want to hear that spinning glasses is harmless.
BORING!
Then you might as well play goose board.
Fortunately, there is also a middle ground. Because how nice would it be if you could still have an exciting evening with your friends without fear of accidents happening. This way, you still have - without taking this too literally - 'the best of both worlds'; excitement guaranteed without compromising safety.
In this book, I teach young people (but also adults who are interested in this) how to safely spin glasses and how you can even create a whole new exciting game with the Ouija board that is even more fun than the outdated 'summoning spirits'!
Soon, you, your son and/or daughter will be able to read all about it in this 300-page, richly (black and white) illustrated book: Turning Glass Is Not (Un)Dangerous! Talk about it with your child or give him or her this book as a gift by way of 'spiritual education'.
Also (or right) if you yourself have great fear of ghosts or glass-turning, it would be nice if you do not immediately condemn this book before you have read it at all. You might find the contents very pleasant....
