Glass turning, a roadmap

How should it actually be done, glass spinning? What are the do's and don'ts? And what should and should not be done when using a Ouija board? If you understand that while spinning glasses you are not in contact with spirits, but have conversations with your own subconscious, it might be a nice idea to get to know yourself better through the glass or Ouija board

How to turn glass?

Glass spinning is possible in the following ways.

  1. With all the letters of the alphabet (scrabble letters or handwritten on loose pieces of paper) placed in a circle on a hard, solid table. Don't forget the words 'YES' and 'NO' and the numbers 0 to nine. The answers to your questions are given using an upside-down glass (on which you rest two fingers loosely) that spells out the words by pointing to the letters one by one as you move across the table.
  2. Using a ready-made Ouija board from the shop. The answers to your questions are given through the provided indicator/indicator/planchette (on which you rest two fingers loosely) that spells the words by pointing to the letters on the board one by one. The pointer of the Ouija board often contains a round glass in the tip.

Note: only do this if the glass spinning really does not frighten you in any way! Any kind of tension or stress can negatively affect the session! Can you watch a scary OUIJA film without any doubt that it might be real? Only then are you ready for your first real Ouija session.

>TEST

The first time I consulted an Ouija board, I proceeded in a way I felt 100 per cent calm and safe under. Perhaps this is also a suitable way for you to get quietly acquainted with the board.

Steps for glass spinning

  1. Choose a time when you are comfortable with yourself. Make sure there is no agitation, stress, anxiety, anger or other emotions that could affect your session in a negative way. On TV and in films, the board is usually consulted at night. In the dark. I advise against this. Simply in daylight is better. Ordinary things like the shadow of the cat or a plant may look different in the dark, which may make you more likely to get scared - unnecessarily - anyway.
  2. Take a seat at the table and place the Ouija board in front of you so that the board lies flat and you have a good overview of the words, letters and numbers.
  3. If you still have some doubts about working with the Ouija board, you can now say the following out loud: 'I would like to ask some questions of my own subconscious at this time.' You can now be sure that the answers you get to see come from yourself.
  4. Now it is time to gently touch the planchette (the pointer, indicator or glass) with four fingers; two fingers from each hand. If the word HALLO is written on your board, you can open with this to indicate to yourself that the session has started. You can also start asking the question directly. A tip: If you are consulting the Ouija board for the first time, I advise you to ask a question that can be answered with YES or NO. Of course, should the pointer then spell a word, it will be nice.
  5. After each answer you got via the board, write down what the outcome was. During a session where you ask a lot of questions, it is possible that you will forget certain things afterwards. It is also useful to write down words you do not know so that you can look them up later via Google or have them translated on a translation site where you can find out all kinds of languages by typing in a word. The translation computer will then itself recognise the language in which the word was typed.
  6. When you are done asking questions and want to end the session, you can guide the pointer to the word GOOD BYE, as a neat end to the game. Not to say goodbye to any ghosts, but because it is nice to end the session properly this way. The digging in your personal database has stopped again. You can now go back to focusing on other things without unconsciously continuing to think about the answers you gave yourself during the Ouija session.

By saying GOOD BYE through the Ouija board, you are signalling to yourself that it is okay what has come out and it is now a matter of waiting to see if you listened well to your subconscious or if your wishful thinking played a role after all.

A moment will present itself when you think: Oh, yes, this was my point of attention or learning opportunity. Time will tell, for now I can let it go.

You will find all the do's and don'ts and the complete list of questions you should and shouldn't ask in the book Glazing isn't (un)dangerous.
