Losing weight and clothes, quite a thing. Tip of the week 18

losing weight and clothes

Losing weight and clothes, quite a thing. When you lose about five kilos, it often saves a whole dress size! Maybe you are used to your current size and find it a bit scary to try a size down.

If you do try this, you will see that after five kilos of weight loss, the results are already impressive! Wear slim-fitting clothes that are not too tight around the body.

Losing weight and clothes, do's

Dark colours slim down and supple fabrics also do well, especially when they fall over the buttocks. A deep V-neck or round neckline completes the look. Trousers with long legs (slightly over the top of the shoes) make your legs look slimmer.

Losing weight and clothes, don'ts

Avoid high collars, bright colours, ruffles, stripes down the width, or (too low) hipsters; these make you look 'fat' . Try - no matter how enthusiastic you have become after losing weight - not to switch to an even smaller size too soon, as clothes that are too tight actually accentuate excess weight.

Still, it is absolutely unnecessary to keep wearing wide clothes when you have tried so hard to lose the first five (or more) kilos.

Show yourself, you can be there! If you want to give nature itself a helping hand, you can also choose to wear corrective underwear, this will make everything fall just a little bit nicer.

In any case, try to adjust your clothes to your (new) weight as much as possible each time.

When you have lost five kilos, don't buy too many clothes at once. Chances are you will need another smaller size in a few weeks!
