Pet horoscope

It used to be possible to have your personal transit horoscope made with me. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible due to the enormous workload associated with my other activities.

For those who are into astrology themselves, I explain on this page how you can interpret the transitions in your horoscope yourself.

More information on the transit horoscope can be found below the image. A useful help while interpreting your own horoscope is the book: Handbook for the novice astrologer.

The character traits and any health concerns described in this book can also be applied to your animal with a little creative adaptation.

Pet horoscope explanation

Through the pet horoscope, it is possible to get to know your pet better, which of course can be very helpful in raising and caring for it. The starting point of the horoscope is the birth chart of your pet. For this, you need to enter the date, place and time of birth in your astrology programme. If you don't know the time of birth, enter 12:00. The planets move, but not so fast that major changes occur within a day.

You can interpret your (pet's) horoscope using the information below.

Sun

What is the basis of the character? What traits are present and can be optimally developed.

Ascendant

How does the animal make contact with the outside world, how does it appear and react to others.

Moon

What are the animal's main needs and what does it need to feel safe.

Mercury

How does the animal learn and in what ways does it communicate.

Venus

Where do the animal's preferences go, what does the animal like, enjoy or like.

Mars

How decisive the animal is and how resilient it is.

Planetary aspects of the horoscope

What are the animal's talents and where are the pitfalls (for both owner and animal).

Pet horoscope health

Medical astrology should never be seen as science and certainly not used as such. Not for humans and not for animals either. A health horoscope shows what a person or animal may be susceptible to astrologically and should never be taken as a diagnosis.

Still, a health horoscope can be useful to take a closer look at whether there might be things you can pay extra attention to.

It can also make you extra alert to certain complaints or symptoms that might make you more likely to visit a vet.

In a health horoscope based on classical medical astrology, you look at the planets, Houses, signs, aspects and crosses. What does this all stand for?

Sun

In medical astrology, the sun represents the will, the life force.

Ascendant

Every planet in the ascendant is important. So is every aspect that makes the ascendant AND every aspect that makes the house lord of the ascendant.

Moon

The subconscious mind, nervous system, occiput, left eye, glands and lymph nodes, reproductive organs and digestive system.

Mercury

The central nervous system, the brain, breathing, blood circulation, all movements from the limbs to the intestines.

Venus

The glands, skin, mucous membranes, kidneys, circulation, eyes, hormones, feeling issues.

Mars

Muscles, red blood cells, iron levels, male sex glands, bile, left ear, fever, inflammation.

Jupiter

Obesity, fattening, proliferation, growth and increase in all aspects, diabetes, good -and malignant tumours, thrombosis, muscle and connective tissue of lungs, heart, intestines, spleen, liver and bladder. A properly aspected Jupiter can also give important information about possible healing. Also important here is whether or not the planet is retrograde.

Saturn

Ascension, retardation, hardening, dehydration, calcification, blockage, petrification, scaling, wear and tear, deficiencies, decay, deposition of wastes.

Uranus

The nervous system, brain, hairs, reflexes, pituitary, spasms, sudden pain, epilepsy, accidents, nerve pain, tears and damage.

Neptune

Decay, attrition, atrophy, dystrophy, infection, addiction, , paralysis, coma, faintness, lethargy, depression, seduction, humiliation, poisoning, hidden diseases.

Pluto

Beginning and end of life, aimless accumulation of tissues (warts, fibroids, cysts, polyps, sarcoma, carnicooma, neoplasms), prostheses, blood transfusions, organ transplantation. Pluto enlarges and strengthens.

In particular, the hard aspects these planets make in the Houses of the horoscope hold a warning or advice for your animal. Here, it is especially important to look at which star signs these Houses are in.

The weakness in The Sixth House

The planet in the Sixth House and/or the ruling planet of this House (House Lord) give an extra warning when there is a hard aspect involving the Moon! What is the weakest aspect and how likely is it to actually turn into illness?

The Cross in which certain planets reside says something about the possible nature of the disease.

Main cross

Sudden, short, severe illness.

Fixed Cross

Severe, long-term, sometimes chronic illness.

Moveable Cross

Regular but generally mild complaints.
